Our 4 Hour Sport Fishing Trip from Tenby is for those who want a more involved sea fishing experience, exploring different grounds and targeting a variety of species depending on the season, tides and conditions.
We might fish reefs, rough ground, banks or deeper water. We might drift, anchor or change tactics completely during the trip.
That’s the beauty of it.
Our skippers know these waters and will decide where and how to fish based on the conditions and what’s producing the best results at the time.
You don’t have to be an expert either. If you’ve enjoyed our 1.5 Hour Mackerel Fishing Trip and fancy taking the next step, this is a natural progression. If you’re already an experienced angler, four hours gives you much more time to get stuck into some proper fishing.
Fishing equipment is provided, and our crew are there to help when you need them.
We can’t tell you exactly what you’re going to catch – and we wouldn’t want to.

This is where things get serious.
Leave Tenby behind and head offshore with us for a 12-hour fishing expedition into the Celtic Deeps, targeting one of the most exciting sporting fish found in British waters – the Blue Shark.
This trip is designed primarily for experienced anglers. We’re travelling considerably further offshore, spending a full day at sea and fishing waters where you never quite know what might appear next.
Once we reach the shark grounds, we’ll establish a scent trail and begin targeting Blue Sharks using specialist tackle and techniques.
Then we wait.
Shark fishing takes patience, but everything changes when a reel starts to run.
Blue Sharks are fast, powerful fish capable of providing an incredible fight – and seeing one appear alongside the boat after battling it through the deep water is an experience that’s difficult to forget.
There’s another reason we’re always watching the water.
Mackerel Fishing Tenby holds a full licence to target Atlantic Bluefin Tuna.
Blue Shark remains the primary target of these trips, but the Celtic Sea can produce spectacular Bluefin activity.
If we encounter suitable tuna activity while we’re offshore, we have the ability to change tactics and begin targeting the tuna, subject to the skipper’s decision, conditions and applicable fishery requirements.
It’s not something we can promise.
But that’s precisely what makes offshore fishing so exciting.
We limit these trips to a maximum of six guests, with only four anglers fishing at any one time.
At the beginning of the trip, everyone draws straws to determine the initial fishing order, with positions rotated throughout the day.
It keeps things fair, gives everyone room and leaves the deck space needed when something powerful takes the bait.
This isn’t our trip for someone wanting to try fishing for an hour.
It’s a proper offshore adventure for anglers prepared for 12 hours at sea and everything that comes with it.
Blue Sharks and Bluefin Tuna are wild fish and catches can never be guaranteed.
But that’s why we go.
